There are quite a number of terrific dance events in San Francisco each week. Most Sundays Lindy in the Park (unless rained out) is quite a fun event in Golden Gate Park. Thursday nights the 9:20 Special at The Russian Center is a blast. Cats Corner is a dance at Savanna Jazz Club which has a cozy, fun, upbeat atmosphere. Le Colonial has swing and lindy hop bands a number of nights each week.

Every Thursday, the 9:20 Special dance happens in San Francisco, California. They have intermediate swing dance classes from 7:20 PM to 8:20 PM and beginning swing dance classes from 8:20 PM to 9:20 PM. The swing and lindy hop dance begins at 9:20 PM, with special guest DJ’s. The Wednesday Night Hop Dance is every Wednesday night in Mountain View, California. Level 2 Lindy Hop lessons start at 7 PM, level 1 lessons start at 8 PM, and then the swing / lindy hop dance goes 9 PM to midnight. The event takes place at Cheryl Burke Dance, 1400 N Shoreline Blvd #A, Mountain View, CA. Usually the event has a terrific DJ, and often these days they are having live bands!
