There are quite a number of terrific dance events in San Francisco each week. Most Sundays Lindy in the Park (unless rained out) is quite a fun event in Golden Gate Park. Thursday nights the 9:20 Special at The Russian Center is a blast. Cats Corner is a dance at Savanna Jazz Club which has a cozy, fun, upbeat atmosphere. Le Colonial has swing and lindy hop bands a number of nights each week.

Every Thursday, the 9:20 Special dance happens in San Francisco, California. They have intermediate swing dance classes from 7:20 PM to 8:20 PM and beginning swing dance classes from 8:20 PM to 9:20 PM. The swing and lindy hop dance begins at 9:20 PM, with special guest DJ’s. The Verdi Club in San Francisco CA hosts weekly Lindy Hop classes and a dance on Tuesday nights. Intermediate Lindy Hop classes go from 7-8 PM and then beginning Lindy Hop classes run 8-9 PM. Tuesday classes include admission to the dance afterwards, Tuesday Night Jump. The Tuesday Night Jump dance starts at 9:40 with San Francisco’s Stompy Jones band.
