I have been teaching private swing and Lindy hop dance lessons for quite a number of years in the San Francisco Bay Area. As much as group classes can also teach students to swing and Lindy hop dance, private lessons can for sure put a new or experienced dancer on the fast track to learning dance quickly. I find that the individual attention a student gets one-on-one can for sure help in learning faster. When I am out dancing and talking to students and organizers from time to time, it is always a pleasure to see students have taught and private lessons from the past now out dancing and doing so well.
